A year late, and a day early…

Hello all! We absolutely cannot wait to finally celebrate our wedding day with you! With the unavoidable impact of the pandemic on our first wedding date, safety is our number one concern. With the current availability of three safe and effective vaccines, CDC guidelines strongly advise that all unmasked wedding guests are fully vaccinated prior to the event. There are currently no mask mandates for our event but they will be accepted for all individuals to mitigate risk of becoming ill. We also have decided to encourage all guests to become fully vaccinated prior to the event. Which means obtaining all necessary injections two weeks prior attendance. The absolute last thing we would want is for someone to get sick at our wedding. We would like everyone to be safe, careful, and enjoy the evening. If the day arrives and you are feeling ill or have been diagnosed as a close contact to a confirmed case we ask that you refrain from attendance for the safety of all participating in the event. We met online, as many do in this digital age. Online dating is a horrific beast of a gross bar so finding anyone of worth is a hard thing. But within the muck we found each other and spoke of happy silly things. After a week or two of chatting we decided to meet in real life and go to see The Hobbit. All things Tolkein has become precious to us both. It is one of the overlaps of our different interests. She loves Disney, drag queens, musicals, the light side of Star Wars, and Harry Potter. He loves all things Spiderman, comics, the dark side of Star Wars, football, and Ninja Turtles. Within the year there was cohabitation, a blending of nerdery and of course a great deal of love. A year after that we started to create together- with custom etched glassware on etsy, buying and selling all things nerd/geek at our local antique mall, and some face painting at Art in the Park for good measure. We have built our home to be a sanctuary of black sheep, off beat humor, oddities, magic, superheroes, comics, games and collectibles. Anyone who has visited our house knows our nerd runs deep with love. We would rather share one lifetime with each other than face all the ages of this world alone . . .
