Walking Tour & Bar Hop around Bilbao

For our first day, we will split into groups and walk around both the new and old areas of Bilbao. Throughout the day we will make various stops to enjoy some drinks and tapas! We recommend wearing airy clothing and comfortable shoes for lots of walking. The average temperature is around 80 degrees. After this event, you'll have some free time to get ready before dinner.
Cocktail Dinner Overlooking The Ocean
7:30 pm - 10:30 pm

Bus Pickup Location & Time: TBD This event will be a standing cocktail dinner overlooking the Atlantic. Throughout the evening, a full meal will be served in a pass-app style. The dinner will be mostly standing & mingling - with some tables and chairs for an occasional rest. Feel free to dress as you please for this event. The bride and groom will be in casual chic attire. It can get a little chilly in the evenings (around 65 degrees) so we recommend bringing a sweater or jacket.

Ocean Walk & Beach Day

Bus Pickup Location & Time: TBD This event will show you our favorite summertime activities in Spain - a coastal walk & the beach! A bus will take us from Bilbao to the beach town of Sopelana (about a 20-minute ride). The bus will first drop off anyone who wants to take a 1 hour easy/moderate walk along the cliffs overlooking neighboring beaches. The walk ends at Sopelana beach, where we will spend the remainder of the afternoon. Sneakers and a change of clothes are recommended so you can enjoy both attractions! If you prefer to sunbathe the whole day, you can stay on the bus which will drop you off directly at Sopelana beach. We recommend eating breakfast in Bilbao before the bus leaves. Two options are (TBD). There are two bars/restaurants at the beach: Solito and El Peñon. Both are delicious! We recommend visiting one of them for lunch during the day. Around 4 pm the bus will take us from the beach back to the hotel. You'll have some free time to get ready before dinner.
