It's always lively in the summer, and we love to walk on Ste-Catherine street and Quartier des Spectacles where we always find something going on. This area has all the stores for shopping - take advantage of the strong USD ;) Bar George - Gorgeous bar in a historic hotel Cloakroom - Tiny bar with no menu, they'll make you anything you could dream for Hiatus - Restaurant on top of Montreal's tallest building. Amazing views Timeout Market - Food court featuring the best chefs in the city Chocolat Favoris - The BEST most THICK dipped cone you'll ever have, try salted caramel!

Old Montreal

QC, Canada

We love to wander these cute cobblestone streets with their charming buildings and lively atmopshere. Christine always says it's like going to Europe without crossing the pond. A lot of our favorite bars, speakeasies, cafes and restaurants are here. -Cafes- Cafe Olympico (they have the best coffee) Crew Cafe (insanely GORGEOUS) -Restaurants- Jellyfish (avocado carpaccio & the rotelle pasta are a must) Terrasse William Gray (for rooftop vibes & views) -Bars & Speakeasies- Coldroom (hideaway bar, good for casual drinks) Nhau Bar (small late night dance spot) Marche Des Eclusiers (cute outdoor spot on the canal)

Griffintown

Our neighborhood! We've lived here for three years now and we love it because it's so dog friendly and close to everything. When we're not walking star, we like to rent bikes (bixi) and ride along the canal. Here are a few of our favorite spots! Le Petit Dep - Whimsical cafe, get the dirty chai La Bete a Pain - Bakery, the almond croissant is a must! Makro - Our fav! Get the hamachi and check out King Crab after, their speakeasy Joe Beef - Iconic restaurant with Quebecois cuisine. Need to reserve in advance Atwater Cocktail Club - Cute speakeasy with fun cocktails Atwater Market - Vibrant farmers market

We’re both huge fans of Asian cuisine, and we’re lucky to have so many amazing options right here in Montreal. Hai Di Lao - Fun hot pot spot. Ask your server, ''do you have gold bricks?'' for a surprise ;) Patisserie Coco - Our fav Chinese pastries. Try the egg tarts and Japanese cheesecake Restaurant Mon Nan - Really good classic Chinese food Jun 1 - Amazing sushi, offers omakase experience Pho Bang New York - Our go-to Viet place for pho and bun bo hue Sammi & Soupe Dumplings - Fresh made juicy dumplings! Presotea - Bubble Tea, Laurent's order: Brown Sugar Pearl Latte, Christine's: Mango green tea with lychee jelly (30% sweet)

-Eats- La Banquise - You cant leave MTL without trying poutine, this spot is banging Schwartz's Deli - A true MTL landmark, renowned deli. Share a large smoked meat plate St. Viateur - Did you know MTL and NY have a bagel rivalry? You be the judge :) -Sightseeing- Notre-Dam Basilica - Beautiful gothic church, national historic site Jardin Botanique - Picturesque botanical gardens featuring many thematic gardens Mont Royal Lookout - Panoramic view of the entire city skyline on top of the Mount Royal St. Joseph's Oratory - Great sunset watch spot, pickup pastries at Duc Du Lorraine beforehand BOTA BOTA - A must! Treat yourself to the nordic spa experience with nordic baths, cold plunges, saunas, steam rooms + massages.
