If you have any other questions other than those listed here, please contact Lauren at vanbeeklauren@gmail.com.
Question

Are you live-streaming the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! It’s available on our church website: https://lourdesmpls.org/lourdes-live

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan on arriving between 1:20 and 1:40 to allow time for parking and getting into the church. The church doors will open at 1:30 for seating after pictures, but the side entrance will be made available if you need to access the restroom before being seated.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes. Semi formal and cocktail attire. Please, no jeans, t-shirts, cowboy boots, or tennis shoes.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely! There is a space for special meal requests in your RSVP. If you have any particular concerns, please email Lauren at vanbeeklauren@gmail.com and I'll be happy to help!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 1st, 2022.

Question

Help, I want to change my RSVP!

Answer

We took the RSVP portion of the site down because at this point we have submitted our final headcount to catering and purchased your meal. If you have an emergency or illness come up and need to change your response please email vanbeeklauren@gmail.com.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your kids, due to budget and space constraints only children of immediate family and the bridal party who have been named on the invitation are invited. We hope you enjoy a well deserved night off! Breastfeeding babies are welcome to sit on their mom's lap, and a quiet room will be available for pumping and feeding.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! Our venue is attached to a hotel, the Marquette. While the room block is now full, we recommend booking with them or a neighboring hotel to avoid drinking and driving.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Ceremony parking is available as metered street parking or in the River Place Parking Ramp off of Bank Street & Second Street. Reception and hotel parking are located in the IDS Tower parking ramp at 80 S 8th St.

Question

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the ceremony?

Answer

We respectfully request that you keep your phones away during the ceremony and instead allow our talented photographers, Katzie and Ben, to take pictures during the ceremony. We request that you instead participate as you are comfortable with the ceremony and follow along with the music and readings. Please do not get in Katzie and Ben's way while they take photos.

Question

How will the open bar work?

Answer

Starting during cocktail hour until last call, we will be providing select wine, beer, and liquor. The bar will briefly close at the beginning of dinner and the DJ will let you know when it reopens after our first dance and parent dances. Unlike many open bars, our contract is per person, not per drink, so please enjoy the bar through the evening. Nonalcoholic options will also be available. We strongly encourage guests to plan in advance to stay at the onsite hotel or Uber/Lyft/Taxi to avoid drinking and driving.
