FAQs

Question

How do I get there?

Answer

Please see the ‘Travel’ page for recommended options for getting safely to Key West. Please note, busy season in Key West starts in February and goes through early May, due to excellent weather conditions. We highly recommend booking travel and accommodations as early as possible, to avoid any surge pricing in the colder months.

Question

When should I book my flights and hotel?

Answer

ASAP! In order to secure reasonable flights and accommodations, we recommend booking your travel arrangements as soon as possible. Wedding events will be held on Friday and Saturday (see 'Schedule' page) with an optional Sunday breakfast.

Question

What is the weather like at this time of year?

Answer

Hopefully sunny and 75! The keys weather this time of year averages from a high of 76 and low of 63. For the welcome party and the wedding reception, we recommend bringing a light jacket. This is dry season for the Keys, however, a light rain jacket doesn't hurt to pack.

Question

The Super Bowl is on Sunday…

Answer

It sure is! We will be staying in Key West through Monday and will organize a spot to watch the big game for those looking to extend their stay and experience a Duvall Street bar crawl.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Key west is tropical and quite casual. For the welcome event, please wear what you feel comfortable in, from casual dresses and polos to elevated beach attire. For the ceremony & reception, cocktail or semi-formal attire. You may want to bring a light wrap or jacket as it may get chilly at night. On Sunday, Pats and/or Eagles jerseys only will be acceptable.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

As much as we'd love to have your children, we are unable to accommodate children during our wedding due to strict capacity limitations at our venue and due to the strict nature of many bars and restaurants on Duvall street. We hope you understand and that this advance notice allows you to make arrangements and enjoy the celebration with us.

Question

What is there to do in Key West?

Answer

Please see ‘Things to Do’ section for our recommendations. If you plan to arrive earlier in the week, we highly recommended a fishing or snorkeling trip - it’s what the keys are known for and the water is breathtaking.

Question

How early can I come!

Answer

If you’d like to extend your stay for a vacation please let us know! We are happy to provide recommendations for those looking to explore the Keys for a longer period of time. The lower keys (we like Islamorada) are known for their laid-back atmosphere and world class fishing and snorkeling. Getting out on the water is a must-do. Our hotel rate is available on Thurs & Sun nights, alternatively an Airbnb or VRBO is a good option for groups.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly request for an RSVP as soon as you know if you are able to join us, and by December 1st at the latest.

Question

Are you registered?

Answer

Your presence is best gift we can hope to receive.
