Here! We will make every effort to update relevant information leading up to the wedding on this FAQ page.
We are excited to be fully present on our wedding day with each other and creating memories with you, so our phones will be off! Please reach out to Parker and/or Anna should questions arise. Our fantastic coordinator Ayden from Praks Planning will be with us on Thursday and Friday.
Welcome Reception : All-white cocktail attire. Ceremony & Reception: Formal, all shades of blue. We recommend suits, pantsuits, & floor-length dresses in blue, in all shades and patterns. Schooner Sail: Anything that would look at home on a sailboat- think vintage jcrew!
To keep our wedding private and intimate, we request that no photos or videos be shared on social media platforms. We appreciate you celebrating us in person. Jared our photographer will be working his magic, and we can't wait to share the photos with you after the wedding.
Welcome Reception: The Shop has an adjacent parking lot on site. Ceremony: Parking is free at All-Faiths Chapel at SMCC South Portland campus. There is a small parking lot next to the chapel and a lager parking lot (Lot B) across the road. The venue asks all guests refrain from parking directly in front of the chapel. Reception: Thames St. Lot and Eastern Promenade Parking Lot are self-service paid lots both within 1 block of the restaurant. Casco Bay Parking Garage and Ocean Gateway Parking Lot and Garage are 3-5 blocks south of the restaurant. There is limited street parking directly in front of Duoro. Schooner Sail: There is no parking on the piers. You can park anywhere in downtown Portland where there are multiple designated, public parking areas. The closest option is to park in the Ocean Gateway Lot, located at 2 Commercial Street Portland, ME 04101. It right next to where Wendameen departs from and is a short walk to Maine State Pier. It is $25 for all day parking, so it makes a great spot to park your car if you plan to explore the city before or after your sail. For something a little less expensive but a little more walking (~5-10 minute walk): Simba Parking at 216 Fore Street is $20 all day. Hub Furniture at 291 Fore Street is $15 all day. The Custom House Garage at 25 Pearl Street is $5/hr, $50 max. Street parking in the area is inexpensive and can be found relatively easily within a few blocks, but until 6pm, there is a 2 hour limit. After 6pm street parking is free and does not have a time limit.
We want everyone to feel comfortable and able to participate fully in our special day. Welcome Reception: The Shop has an entry ramp and flex inside/outside space with seating. Depending on the weather, we could have access to the outside porch area as well as the inside. Ceremony: There are a limited number of parking spaces immediately in front of the chapel. There are 2 steps to enter the chapel. Our venue asks to please refrain from parking directly in front of the chapel. Reception: Douro is ADA-compliant. There are limited numbers of street parking spots directly in front of the restaurant. Schooner Sail: The schooners are not wheelchair accessible, but the Portland Schooner crew is always happy to assist helping passengers of all physical abilities aboard, including those in wheelchairs. When RSVPing, please indicate if you or anyone in your party will need assistance.
We ask that all phones and cameras are turned off and put away, and please refrain from taking photos or videos during our ceremony. We’ve asked a professional photographer (hi Jared!) to capture this special moment so that our guests can be present with us during one of the most important moments of our lives.
Our ceremony at the All-Faiths Chapel is indoors.
All-Faiths Chapel does not have any restrooms insides. The nearest bathrooms at SMCC are located a short walk south of All-Faiths Chapel in the Campus Center (building 86) located at the intersection of Fort Rd and Campus Center Drive. There is a parking lot immediately opposite of the Campus Center. SMCC campus map: https://www.smccme.edu/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/South-Portland-Map-and-Locations-8.5x11-8.12.25-003.pdf

At our reception, there will be a card box next to our guestbook.
Yes! We'd love for you to leave a message! There will be a cookbook for you to sign at the reception. *fun fact*: the cookbook is where we had our first date in 2018!
Maine State Pier is at 56 Commercial Street and adjacent to the Casco Bay Lines facility on the corner of Commercial and Franklin Streets. We are about halfway down the pier, past the Casco Bay Lines terminal. Keep walking past sign that says ‘Gate 5’. We are the second dock house on the right.
We are chartering a private Windjammer through Portland Schooners. We will be on the Wendameen, which is the largest schooner in the fleet. We will be providing hot coffee and donuts from The Holy Donut during the 2hr sail through Casco Bay. There is no parking on the piers, so please plan to find parking anywhere in downtown Portland. The closest parking garage is Ocean Gateway Garage. We are the second dock house on the right and our schooner is the historic Windameen. Please arrive to the dock no later than 15mins before the scheduled departure time to check in. Life jackets (adult/children) are provided by the crew, but are not required during the sail. The schooner will sail in a light drizzle or passing shower, so please plan to pack a rain jacket just in case. Casco Bay has calm waters, so we expect a smooth sail. If you are very susceptible to seasickness, taking preventative medication is at your own discretion. Bathrooms are on board the schooner and will be available for guests to use. When you RSVP, please indicate your dietary restrictions/preferences. We have done our best accommodate a variety of dietary needs. Please contact us if you have further questions/concerns.
Due to vendor policies and liability, no outside alcohol is not permitted at all our events. This includes our Welcome Reception, Ceremony and Brunch Reception, and the Schooner Sail.
We will not be providing transportation as we anticipate guests staying all over Portland. We advise strongly considering a car rental as public transit and ride share services (uber/lyft) can be spotty, especially during the shoulder season.
We are registered at Anthropologie, Crate & Barrel, and Zola.
We appreciate your generosity! Purchasing and sending a gift through our Registry is the best– and easiest– way to ensure your gift arrives to our home in Philadelphia.
Early May in Portland, Maine, typically brings moderately chilly and breezy conditions, with average temperatures ranging from the high 40s to low 60s (Fº). Be prepared for potential cool breezes and perhaps a chance of light-moderate rain, so bringing layers is recommended.
We've designed a weekend of celebrations to maximize time with our guests, but understand schedules can be tricky and simply appreciate you sharing any part of our wedding weekend.
We are able to accommodate those named on the invitation and ask only those whose names are listed on the invitation attend.
No, unfortunately Ringo could not be convinced to leave his spot on the couch in the sun back home in Philadelphia.
