Can I Bring A Date?
Answer
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate the guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus-one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Are kids invited?
Answer
We have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event with the exception of immediate family.
Question
Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony will take place outside on a stone patio under the shade of trees but will be moved indoors in the event of rain. The cocktail hour and reception will take place indoors.

When should I arrive?
Answer
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the ceremony to find parking and to find a seat. If you arrive anytime during or after the ceremony please watch from the parking lot and join the other guests for cocktail hour once the ceremony is over.

Is the venue handicap accessible?
Answer
The ceremony location and reception venue are handicap and wheelchair accessible. Handicap guests may be dropped off at the ceremony and/or reception site. The ceremony and reception areas are connected with a brick path on a slight incline. Guests who might have a challenge with that are more than welcome to have someone else from their party pick them up at the ceremony location and drop them off at the entrance of the reception barn after the ceremony. All restrooms are wheelchair accessible. If you have any more questions or concerns, please contact Shannon, as we want to make sure all our guests feel welcome!

Can we take pictures?
Answer
We are having an "unplugged" ceremony (no phones or cameras). We have hired professionals for this moment and promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like! We will have QR codes at every table where you can share and upload the photos you take to a digital album for us to see!

Will there be a bar?

Yes! Beer, wine, specialty cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages are on us!

Can I bring my own adult beverages?
Answer
We will be supplying alcohol and have a bartending service who will be handling the beverages. Due to venue policy and regulations, you are not allowed to bring any other alcoholic beverages on the premises.

Can I smoke?
Answer
We ask that you do not smoke in or around the ceremony location and are not allowed to smoke inside of the venue. There will be a designated area for smokers outside of the venue and in the parking lot. If you are unsure, please ask someone, as whoever violates the smoking policy will receive the bill for the fine.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by July 25th. If you do not RSVP by this date you will be marked as "not attending".

What should I wear?
Answer
The dress code is casual garden party! We want all our guests to feel comfortable, especially during the summertime! Please avoid any graphic tees and any colors designated for the bride such as white, ivory, cream, and champagne. This is a summer wedding so don't shy away from wearing other colors and/or patterns!

What is the parking situation?
Answer
There is a lot of parking! You will be able to park close to the ceremony site so you can't miss it! The parking lot is gravel, so we recommend that handicapped guests be dropped off at the ceremony or reception site.

Is Lauren taking William's last name?
Answer
Yes! Lauren will be changing her name to Lauren Michener (pronounced mitch-en-er)
