Travel
Shediac is easiest to get to by car. It's a 20-minute drive from the Moncton Airport and about 2.5 hours from the Halifax Airport. There are lots of places to stay (see below) and fun things to do.
Parking and taxis:
Parking at the cottage is limited so we will try to prioritize folks with limited mobility or small kids to start but then we should have some space for a few others. Please let us know via email if you need parking. If there is more demand for parking than space, we will arrange a shuttle from a nearby parking lot.
For those who are planning to leave by 10pm, a good option is the Parlee Beach Provincial Park parking lot. It is an eight-minute walk from that parking lot to the cottage (see map under notes below). If you park here, you will have to pay the park fee. However, this lot closes at 10pm!

This lot closes at 10pm and you would need to pay the park fee but it's only an 8-minute walk from the cottage (you can even walk along the beach).

Places to Stay in Shediac
There are lots of cottages for rent in the Bluff and Pointe-du-Chene neighbourhoods of Shediac. There is camping within walking distance of the cottage at Parlee Beach Provincial Park. There are also lots of hotels and B&Bs in the town of Shediac.

Moncton Airport
The Moncton Airport is a 20 minute drive from the cottage. There are car rental agencies at the airport.
