FAQs

Question

Wow, I still haven't booked accommodations like the bride and groom recommended. Am I too late?

Answer

We did suggest booking your accommodations a couple months ago, BUT if you haven't gotten around to it yet, we highly suggest you get on top of it. Hotels seem to be all booked up for that weekend, but there are plenty of great airbnbs/VRBOs around the area that you can reserve. Consider Bingen, White Salmon, or anywhere around the Hood River area when you are looking for somewhere to stay - all are great options and the welcome drinks will be in Bingen!

Question

Do you think I should rent a car?

Answer

We highly suggest renting a car as the drive from PDX to Hood River is about an hour and some change and there is so much incredible space to explore in the Hood River area. Find some friends that are coming and carpool! There are public transportation options that you can find if you don't want to rent a car for the weekend.

Question

Will I need transportation to the wedding venue?

Answer

We will have two buses for about 100 people that will go from downtown Hood River at 3pm to our venue and back to the after party location at Whiskey Tango at 10:30pm. We will follow up with parking information in case you need to travel to get to the pick up spot once we have it. 150 people are invited, so 50 of you are going to have to drive. Hit us up if you have any questions!

Question

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

Our theme is Garden Party Chic! See here for our inspiration Pinterest board: https://pin.it/3Xd6gUz1r Wanted to give an idea of what you could wear and what Garden Party Chic means (because we made it up!). Use our color palette as inspiration. Have fun. Patterns and colors encouraged! We will be surrounded by a beautiful apple orchard and wildflowers so take that as your starting point and have FUN.
