Welcome to Denver, Colorado! Denver has a lot to offer so here are a few suggestions and some of our favorite places for food. While Denver has a lot to do, the state of Colorado has a lot of beauty that lies outside the city. If you wish to visit one of the beautiful state parks or one of the quaint mountain towns, we advise you to plan ahead.

Rocky Mountain National Park is home to many species of animals, including bobcats, cougars, black bears, moose & coyotes! (1.5 hour drive) One of the best things to do while in Colorado. Plan ahead!

A National Natural Landmark, the Garden of the Gods is home to some cool rocks with great hiking opportunities. We did a date day down here once before so we recommend! (1 - 1.5 hour drive) The town of Manitou Springs is also close by so if you want to try drinking some FRESH water from their mineral springs, add this town to your list. (Extra 10 min drive from Garden of the Gods).
