Our journey began while attending James Madison University in our Junior year. Queue the *J….M…U Duuuuuuuukes!!!* We were both part of the founding class of a co-ed business fraternity called Epsilon Nu Tau (ENT) in the spring of 2016. Our first real date was at Chipotle where we laughed and got to know each other over burrito bowls (No guac for TJ). TJ considers our first formal date to be that Valentine’s Day when he took Lauren to a steak house and dressed in a blazer… very classy for Harrisonburg, Virginia. As our friends and family can attest, it was the start of a beautiful relationship and when two people found their best friend in this world. After graduation we faced some uncertainty with TJ moving back to New York and Lauren staying in Virginia. However, as they say, distance certainly does make the heart grow fonder. Finally, after 7 years together in May of 2024 TJ popped the big question in Paris in front of the Eiffel Tower while on a trip to see a Taylor Swift concert (Lauren’s favorite artist). We now live together with our cat Peanut in an apartment on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Every day brings something new, and we can't wait to embark on this new chapter of life together, surrounded by our family and friends! We are so excited to start this new journey in our lives by celebrating with all of you on September 20th. We love you all, cheers!!!
