This CityMD is one of the most convenient locations near the venue for Covid-19 rapid testing.
Visit the spot where Tanmay and Lauren got engaged! (Well, specifically the corner of 75th and Madison, just outside the museum.) The Met Breuer and Flora Bar, the site of Tanmay and Lauren’s surprise engagement party, are now closed, but the Frick Museum has taken over the space and is now open for visitors.
Just a few blocks from where Lauren and Tanmay used to live on the Upper East Side, the Met is one of their favorite places to visit. Strolling around the museum would be a great way to spend a few hours on Saturday morning or Sunday after brunch.
One of Lauren and Tanmay’s favorite things to do in the warmer months is to walk around the Central Park Reservoir. It's 1.58 miles around the shore, and you're in for some amazing views of the NYC skyline (especially at sunset!)
Visit the famous Washington Square Park in Greenwich Village. The park is surrounded by Tanmay's alma mater, NYU. You'll recognize the famous arch from movies like When Harry Met Sally (one of our favorites) or real life moments like When Tanmay Met Kirby, Harden, and Vijay (his groomsmen and NYU besties).
Lauren's favorite Upper East Side pizza place - she promises you'll love it! Get a slice of the grandma or the MVP and try some of the best New York pizza. Marinara also has additional locations on the Upper East Side, Upper West Side, and in Union Square. Staying downtown? Try Emily, Joe's Pizza, or Prince Street Pizza for some other favorites.
Another favorite ice cream place! Tanmay very sweetly had 4 pints of Lauren's favorite Ample Hills ice cream, Nonna D's Oatmeal Lace, delivered to her apartment after they visited here on one of their earliest dates (pictured here!). If you don't want to make the trek to Brooklyn, word on the street is that you might just be able to get some Ample Hills at the wedding reception... :)
An old standby that Tanmay (and his brother, Nikhil, and his best friend, Kirby) have frequented for cones, sundaes and shakes in Union Square for almost 14 years! And conveniently located near Tanmay and Lauren's new apartment in the East Village.
A key to success at NYU, before, during or after a night out... this is the place for tasty, filling and cheap sandwiches and plates of falafel and shawarma. A great place for a quick bite if you go to check out Washington Square Park!
