This is a must stop for anyone making the drive between Portland and Hood River. Multnomah Falls is the tallest waterfall in Oregon and is located immediately next to interstate 84 at exit 31. The waterfall viewing platform, restaurant, and gift shop are just a short walk from the parking lot. For those who want to see even more waterfalls, the Multnomah-Wahkeena Falls Loop is a challenging trail accessible from the same parking lot. This 5 mile loop climbs 1500 ft, and takes a few hours.
