The Wedding Website of Lauren Wintheiser and Surafel Mammo

Although we grew up in different parts of the world, we met while working at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle, WA. Surafel was a cardiac telemetry technician, while Lauren was a registered nurse working on the same hospital unit. We were friends for several months, while getting to know each other through backpacking trips to Olympic National Park and hiking around Mount Rainier. We also bonded over our love of the TV show, The Office. A hiking friendship turned into a relationship through our love of the outdoors and constant Office references. We have been fortunate enough to meet many friends through work and the outdoors! We purchased our first house in Everett, WA in December 2022. And our little family has grown with the addition of our cat, Toby, and our dog, Luna!
