The Village of Lincoln, New Mexico, sits about mid way between Roswell, NM and Ruidoso, NM. The historic town itself serves more as a tourist attraction, and does not offer much in the way of lodging. However, both Roswell and Ruidoso are a short 30-40 minute drive from Lincoln. If you are looking at more of a "Mountain Get Away", we suggest staying in Ruidoso. It offers a multitude of scenic lodging options from hotels, to cabins, to air bnb's. If you are looking for access to more amenities, and a slightly larger, but much less scenic option, Roswell is going to be your place. There are lots of options for hotel lodging there.
