We met in high school as freshman. Throughout most of our high school years we were classmates, and at times, some might even say friends. But, the summer before our senior year, everything changed. I found myself newly single, and Steven found himself a new challenge to take on...trying to make me his girlfriend by the first day of school senior year. He wanted to see the shock on all of our teacher's and friend's faces when he walked in holding my hand. After multiple attempts to ask me out, and make our relationship official, and multiple declines on my part, Steven told me that when I was ready, I had to ask him out. So on July 17th of 2011, I finally caved, and asked Steven to be my boyfriend. Nine years later, we find ourselves embarking on the journey of marriage. Just two crazy kids who fell in love at 17, who have grown up together, learned a lot from one another, and realized the true meaning of 1 Corinthians Chapter 13. Love is patient, Love is Kind, and Love Conquers all.
