Fort Worth Stockyards Station
This historic downtown street has the best barbecue, western clothes, and the occasional rodeo! The world’s largest Honkey Tonk “Billy Bobs” is located here as well. If you would love a night of window shopping and country dancing, this is the spot to visit.
Fort Worth Botanic Garden
These gardens offer an immersive experience at your pace. The gardens have serval Japanese inspired buildings and numerous plants that are both relaxing and inviting.
West Magnolia Avenue
This is a whole street full of restaurants, coffee shops, and cute dessert places to enjoy.
University Park Village
University Park Village has cute clothes stores such as Francesca’s and Made Well, but also a few restaurants, Starbucks, and an Apple Store. Find a cute spot to post pictures before the wedding posts!
South Main Street
Located in the downtown area, this street is packed with cute coffee shops, a restaurant fit for all preferences, and cute desserts places to enjoy after a nice meal.
Sundance Square
Sundance Square is the very center of Fort Worth’s downtown area. With a Starbucks close by and many restaurants to choose from, it’s an opportunity to relax and enjoy all that downtown has to offer.

Texas Christian University
TCU’s gorgeous campus is nestled right in Fort Worth! Walk the pristine streets of this D1 school and take a peek at their renown stadium. Go Frogs!
Amon Carter Museum of American Art
This museum is wonderful and affordable option for anyone (not just art enthusiasts) to explore American art.
Monkey and Dog Books
A really cute bookstore that you can stop by after a trip to the art museum nearby.
Fort Worth Museum of Science and History
A great museum to go to with kids, as they have a whole kids section and many activities throughout that kids would very much enjoy.
Six Flags Over Texas
Lauren and Scudder live fifteen minutes from Six Flags! Lauren loves roller coasters and the superhero-themed rides, but Scudder would rather drive cars than be trapped in a ride.
Dallas Baptist University
Lauren will graduate from DBU in December of this year! She will graduate with her teaching certifications for English Language and Reading for 7th-12th grade. She will have also completed all her teaching hours and begin her career In January, 2024. She’s beyond blessed to have come here and for Scudder to have transferred here in August of 2022.
