We can't wait to spend our special day with you!

In the summer of 2021, Lauren's family built a house on Keuka Lake, and she moved in soon after. Coincidentally, Ryan's family lived just 3 miles down the road. In March 2022, Lauren was out with her parents at Keg & Barrel, our favorite local hangout spot. During the same time, Ryan was visiting his family in New York. By chance, Lauren had met some of Ryan's friends who encouraged him to come meet her. We instantly hit it off, and Ryan, being the gentleman he is, asked Lauren's parents for their permission to take her on a date. The following week, we had our first date at Port's Cafe in Geneva, NY, and the rest is history!

In September 2024, Lauren, Ryan, and her parents went on vacation in Key West, FL. One night, while walking back to their hotel, Lauren and Ryan decided to stop at a hotdog stand for a quick bite. As they were ordering, a few Hispanic men were also there, trying to communicate with us despite the language barrier. They kept asking, "¿Es ella tu esposa?" and "¿está casado?" Ryan, with his usual sarcasm, responded with, "mañana, mañana." Lauren, familiar with his humor, simply rolled her eyes. To our surprise, the men then tore off pieces of tinfoil from our hotdogs and fashioned makeshift rings. They suggested that we should be married, which left us both laughing and feeling ecstatic about the whole ironic situation. Back at the hotel, still amused by the spontaneous moment, Ryan turned to Lauren and said, "I know you love the tinfoil ring, but how about a real one?" He then kneeled down and asked Lauren to spend the rest of her life with him.
