Flight
Puerto Vallarta International Airport
Hop on a plane and fly to Puerto Vallarta International Airport (PVR). There are flights daily from all major US cities. From the airport, Punta de Mita region is 26 miles away. Once you land, the easiest option is a taxi from the airport. There will be lines of available taxis waiting outside of the airport. You will see multiple people with signs asking you for taxi service on your way out of the airport, but CONTINUE OUTSIDE. Make sure to go completely outside and EXIT THE AIRPORT doors. There is a taxi service window outside of the airport where you must pay for a taxi prior to getting in the vehicle. The taxi service window is located right next to the outdoor bar, where you can get a nice cold beverage prior to your ride if you so wish! ;) Alternatively, schedule a private transfer through your hotel.

We love the idea of an AirBnB for the weekend, as it can be more cost effective and can get you closer to the wedding venue. Being inside the gates in Punta de Mita allows you to access and enjoy the exclusive amenities of Punta Mita, including golf, beach clubs, tennis, and security. Listed are just a few examples of rentals that are all close to the venue, but you may do your own search. Las Terrazas condos have a number of different rentals for you to look at. There are also a variety of other options available in the area that can be a better price option based on group size and needs.
