We're getting married!

We met through an online dating app, and had our first date at a cafe in University Heights. We bonded over our shared love of food, travel and camping, and that date grew into a strong friendship and lasting love.

On the evening of the summer solstice in 2019, we went out to omakase sushi at Soichi in University Heights. On our walk home from dinner, we walked by the cafe where we had our first date. As Peter started to say "This is where our love story began," Lauren awkwardly talked about a creepy house next door looking like a murder had happened there, so the moment was ruined. Once home, Peter popped the question and the rest is history.
