Flight
Flights can be taken into the Savannah airport. From there, it is a 50 minute drive to the Haig Point Embarkation Point. See below for more information on the Haig Point Ferry. Ride share costs around $85. *Return Flights: For flights on Sunday, we do not recommend booking flights before 9am given the first ferry leaves Daufuskie Island at 6:30am. **Haig Point also provides a shuttle service to and from both airports listed. Reservations are required in advance. Pricing: Savannah Airport-$120.00 (1-6 People) Hilton Head Airport: $60.00 (1-6 People) Ride sharing is allowed if arrival/departure times are the same. For booking, reservations can be made with the front desk at frontdesk@haigpoint.com and cc payment will need to be collected upon arrival. They will need names, phone number, number of people, flight time, departure ferry time, airport, and flight name/number.

Note: Hilton Head Airport is a small, regional airport with fewer direct flight options, smaller planes, and frequent delays and cancellations. House Or Rental
Haig's Point on Dafuskie Island (where all wedding events take place) Haig's Point is a gated community on Dafuskie Island where all wedding events will take place. Guests have the option to either stay at Haig's Point or somewhere else on Dafuskie Island. There are three steps to book accomodations at Haig's Point. First, please use the link below to see rentals. DO NOT SELECT A DATE. You will not see all accommodations if you select a date. Next, use this spreadsheet to see what accommodations are available. Finally, call 800) 686-3441 to book with Haig Point. You will need to call. Each Haig Point rental comes with a four seater golf cart. Additional golf carts can be rented. Our wedding block will end on 3/9/23, so please book before then.
House Or Rental
Dafuskie Island Rental Group - These homes are available through a local rental company and are located right outside of the gated Haig Point community. (https://www.vacationdaufuskiesc.com/rentals) - Airbnb and VRBO - Search Dafuskie Island and you should be able to find a few options on these sites as well! Just keep in mind some of these homes might not come with a golf cart. You will also be responsible for getting your luggage to your home once you get off the ferry!
Travel Note
Daufuskie Island is only accessible via a 20 minute private ferry from the Haig Point Embarkation (10 Haig Point Ct, Hilton Head Island, SC 29928). All wedding guests will have free access to the ferry. - Going to Daufuskie Island - The Ferry runs from the Haig Point Embarkation to Daufuskie Island starting at 6:30am and runs every hour until 11:30pm. - Leaving Daufuskie Island - The Ferry leaves from Daufuskie Island to the Haig Point Embarkation starting at 6:30am then runs every hour starting 7:40am until 11:40pm. See the link below for the full ferry schedule. Note: Both outdoor & indoor seating is available on the ferry.
Hotel
This hotel is located on Hilton Head, and is close to the Haig Point ferry embarkation. It is near shopping and restaurants on the island. We have reserved a room block with a special wedding rate from Friday June 16th- Sunday June 18th, please use the link above to access. The block rate is available through May 16th.
