They swiped right (and made the right swipe) on Tinder.
Chilton, Wisconsin (where there are more cows than people.)
The village of Palamadai in the southern part of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu (no word on how many cows live in the village)
The venue has no parking. We encourage guests to take an Uber or Lyft. Should you need to drive, you can park at the Holiday Inn Express next door for a fee. Like public transportation? The blue line stops at Washington Street, which is a 10-minute walk from the FemX venue.
For Thursday, guests are wearing semi-formal Indian or Western wear. If you need to shop for new Indian clothes, here are the links we recommend: https://www.mirraw.com/ https://www.panashindia.com/
There is a parking lot directly next to the venue, and parking will be validated for our wedding guests. You can also take an Uber or Lyft, which we recommend if you are partaking in the Wisconsin Old Fashioneds.
We have allotted between 45 and 60 minutes between ceremonies for you to grab a drink and appetizer and change if you would like. There are restrooms onsite if you want to change in the bathroom. While there is no clothing storage at the Loft for guests, parking is validated so if you’re doing a costume change, keep your second outfit in the car and debut it for Wedding Part 2.
Of course. And if you need help wrapping it, just say "Auntie!" really loudly, and one will appear out of thin air to help you. (Seriously. Aunties are magic.)
Yes, please do. There will be appetizers at 4:30 and a more formal dinner at 6 PM (as well as dessert later in the night).
Both Thursday and Friday events will be served buffet style with options for both vegetarians and omnivores. If you are vegan, please let us know with your RSVP as the Harbor View Loft venue must order you a special dish in advance.
Yes. The Thursday night space is located on ground level. On Friday, Harbor View Loft has an elevator that can take you right up to our ceremony and reception space on the second floor.
While we would LOVE to dress Sphinx up in a saree, unfortunately, our beautiful venue does not allow pups. We are just as bummed about it as you are.
Uh, we love you, but — this is our special weekend. Please try to find the answer to your questions on this site, from another guest, or from our wedding planner Asal. She will be at the venue all day on Friday. The bride and groom will NOT have their phones.
