We recommend arriving no later than Friday to adjust to the time difference and enjoy the weekend. The wedding ceremony is on Saturday at 4:30 PM, and check-in for the boat begins at 3:45 PM at Māʻalaea Harbor. Roundtrip transportation is being provided. Check the Events & Details page for more info!
The ceremony will take place on a private boat charter with Pacific Whale Foundation, departing from Māʻalaea Harbor. Check the Events & Details page for more info!
Our wedding attire is Aloha Resort Style, which means comfortable, polished, and island-inspired clothing perfect for a beautiful day on the water. Think lightweight fabrics, tropical prints, bright colors, and breezy styles. For example: For women: Sundresses, maxi dresses, skirts, or nice pants paired with colorful tops or blouses. For men: Casual button-down shirts (Hawaiian prints welcome!), linen pants or shorts, and loafers or sandals. Please note: Shoes will need to be removed before boarding the boat, so we recommend wearing easy-to-slip-off footwear like sandals or flats. Avoid heavy or formal shoes.
There will be a limited bar with select beverages and hand-held small bites served during the ceremony. Please reach out to us in advance if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies so we can accommodate you.
The boat is equipped with restrooms for guest convenience.
Due to the unique nature of our boat venue, we kindly ask that this celebration be an adults-only event. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to share this special day with you!
Due to limited space on the boat, only guests who are specifically invited with a plus-one on their invitation may bring a guest. If your invitation does not include a guest, we kindly ask that you attend solo. Thank you for understanding!
We will monitor the weather closely. If the ceremony needs to be postponed or moved, we will notify guests as soon as possible.
The wedding ceremony will take place on the boat only — there will be no formal reception afterward. However, guests are warmly invited to join the bride and groom for casual drinks at The Sandbar, the Sheraton Maui’s open-air lobby lounge overlooking Kā‘anapali Beach. The brides’ parents are generously hosting a limited selection of cocktails for everyone (food from the menu is available for purchase if you’d like a bite). The space offers panoramic ocean views, a relaxed island atmosphere, and a menu of signature craft cocktails and local bites infused with Maui flavors. It’s an easygoing spot to unwind, enjoy the breeze, and continue celebrating together! Check the Events & Details page for more info!
The boat we’ll be celebrating on is operated by the Pacific Whale Foundation, a wonderful non-profit dedicated to marine conservation. If you feel inspired, donations and tipping the crew are warmly encouraged to support their important work. Every bit helps protect Hawaii’s ocean life!
