Montague Street Bagels

Saturday, I recommend taking a stroll up Montague Street in Brooklyn Heights. Just before the end of the street, you will find Montague Street Bagels. The giant red sign simply says "Hot Bagels". Get the best bagel in all of NYC and then take it one more block to the Brooklyn Heights Promenade. You can sit on a bench and enjoy a view of the harbor, Governor's Island, the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, Lower Manhattan, the Brooklyn Bridge and Brooklyn Bridge Park.

From here you can stroll along the edge of Brooklyn Heights and take in views of the NY Harbor from Governor's island to the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges.
