Growing up you would think that Vicky & I were basically twins. Not only are we the two youngest in the family, but we're also the closest in age. Although it seemed our personalities were akin to apples & oranges, Vicky took the role as the older sister very seriously. When we were little, she taught me so many things like how to tell time & tie my shoes. You could be sure if I was 'annoying' or out of line she would quickly correct my path. As we grow older, not much has changed. She still has A LOT of patience, teaches me things, & puts me in check. I watch her with own her two beautiful daughters & I am constantly reminded how beautiful sisterhood is. Little sisters might rolls our eyes or act like we don't care, but the truth is were always listening & looking up to our big sisters!

If anyone could meet the definition of the middle child, Jackie would be it. The peace keeper, 'wild child' & protector, Jackie emphasizes the best qualities of an older sister. Even before I can remember, Jackie was my always in my corner figuratively & literally. When I was born, she graciously shared her room with me as a baby. I'd like to think that's one of the main reasons were so close...or maybe it's because i'm so darn cute. Either way, Jackie has always picked me up when I fell, lent a unbiased ear & showered me with selfless acts of love. It's truly amazing how these all encompassing qualities extend to her own beautiful family & everyone around her. I have been extremely fortunate to learn from her experiences advice, heed her & embody her free spirit.

My sister from another mister! Kelly & I met 2012 at Frostburg when Mike introduced her as 'his' friend. I distinctly remember wondering 'who is this girl & why does he think we'll be friends?' I realize now, Mike has always had a penchant for picking truly amazing people for friends. Back then, I never imagined how our friendship would grow into what it is now....a sisterhood. Eight years later, were still attached at the hip. Kelly knows me to my core & always knows what to say (or not say) when I need it the most. I think something aligned in the universe when we met & fate decided we were meant to be. Kelly has welcomed me with open arms as a part of her family & I am truly grateful for that. I can't wait to make more memories as your friend, sister & auntie to Taylor.

Juliana & I met at my first 'real' job. I remember being really nervous & uncertain until I met Juli. As soon as I walked in, she greeted me with her vibrant smile & bubbly personality. I knew right then we would be the best of friends. I commonly refer to Juli as the Yin to my Yang. I can honestly say Juli is one of the most patient, positive, & endearing people I have ever met. Throughout our friendship, she has pushed me to become a better person. When i'm anxious, lose my patience or make snarky (...but funny) remarks, I always think WWJD (what would Juli do)? Juli is probably the nicest person I have ever met & I am truly thankful she is apart of my life. You really do help me fit the pieces in the puzzle, even when jam them into the wrong spot.

I have known Nate since the day he was born and he probably believes he decided he wanted a brother. Since I can remember, Nate and I have been competing in anything and everything we can together (I have allowed him many victories over the years). No matter what life has thrown at us or if a long time goes by as we make transitions in our lives, we always know that distance and time will never break us. He may just be one of the luckiest people I have ever met & I can always tell when he is excited to tell me something because he starts grinning from ear to ear. Nate is the true meaning of unique with his own style & lives for the moment. I am so proud to call him my brother & happy for his success. While we can’t go back & relive the past, the bond we share will always be there.

The man, the myth, the legend...Patrick! My pledge brother in SAE & best friend. I came back from a weekend home & found him sleeping cozily in my bed. The first time we met, I kicked him out of my room. We later were reintroduced through my college roommate. Since then, it has been a wild & fun ride throughout all our adventures. Overcoming the battles against Minerva, promising stories to remember (like getting attacked by a shark), or taking in the glories of Awesome Con. The countless memories can never be forgotten. No matter what is happening in life, he has been there by my side. He always strives to be a True Gentlemen & continues to always push me to experience new things. I can’t wait to continue growing and making memories through this life and am truly thankful for everything!

I met Allen through my friend Kelly as they were dating at the time. I will never forget the night we met because I had the worst hiccups for a solid hour. When he saw me and noticed something was off, he offered some friendly advice. As fate may have it, whether it was coincidence or what felt like sorcery at the time, the hiccups went away. Shortly after meeting Allen, Lauren and Kelly started to become friends and as a result, we became close. We enjoyed many nights playing poker and losing track of time staying up till the sun rises plenty of times over the years while the girls fell asleep early. As life transitions for us all, we continue to stay close and I was proud to stand by him at his wedding and glad he will be here for mine. I look forward to everything that is to come!

Steven is a name I rarely hear, Dittmer is the guy I met freshmen year in college. You could hear him across and down the hall clear as day, talking smack and living it up. I decided to see who this guy was making such a ruckus calling out all challengers in Madden. Little did he know that all my counter-smack talk was a complete bluff to meet him (he won loud and proud). It’s been over 10 years since then and I have never known anyone else quite like him. Whether it was planning the best socials in college, traveling to different events over the years, or kicking back & relaxing. Dittmer has always been a loyal friend and a True Gentlemen along the way & I can’t wait to see what’s next!
