FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We ask that you submit your RSVP by May 1st, 2025. If we do not hear from you by then, we will assume you will not be attending and you will be missed!

Question

Where is the reception? Where should we park?

Answer

Our reception will be on the lawn at the north end of Brown Park in McCall Idaho. If you are driving, please know there is no vehicle parking adjacent to the Park. Guests should park along Hemlock St. & E Lake St. Please be courteous to the owners of property in the vicinity & avoid blocking narrow streets & driveways. We recommend walking or carpooling if you can!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our venue only allows a limited amount of guests, so at this time we unfortunately are unable to accommodate your little ones during our reception party. Thank you for your understanding!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We ask that you dress semi-formal, but don't be afraid to dress to impress. We encourage lots of color. Ladies: Midi Dresses, Maxi Dresses, Jumpsuits || Guys: Nice Pants and Fun Dress Shirts Please no denim.

Question

Will you be having a ceremony that we can attend?

Answer

We have made the decision to have a private ceremony, just the two of us in New Zealand. We have chosen this so we can be fully present with each other as we commit our lives to one another, and so we can come back and celebrate in a way that allows us to be fully present with all our guests without having to worry about all the nitty-gritty details of having our full wedding on the same day. We plan to showcase photos and videos from our elopement day at our wedding reception. Thank you for your understanding and support!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to the venue space capacity, we ask that only the names specified on the RSVP page attend. If you have any questions about this, feel free to reach out to Matt or Lauren

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We will be hosting a Welcome BBQ on Friday July 25th, 2025 to welcome all of our guests into town. We will be serving a BBQ-style dinner starting at 5 PM. Please feel free to come by whenever you get into town, and to stay as short or as long as you'd like! We understand that some of you may be arriving in town on Friday so there is no pressure to stay for the whole event.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the reception?

Answer

We recommend staying at a location that is within walking distance of the park to avoid the need to drive at all if possible if you plan to drink. There is Uber in McCall, however, it is a small resort town so availability may be limited. You can prearrange a taxi with Tony's Taxi McCall or arrange for a designated driver, as there will be some guests who will not be drinking and will be available to drive you home safely.

Question

Is there an open bar?

Answer

Yes, we plan on providing a mixture of beer, wine, and seltzers for our guests during our reception, along with water and soft drinks for those who would like non-alcoholic drinks. Our welcome social / dinner is BYOB due to city regulations regarding alcohol.

Question

What happens if I RSVP yes and I can no longer attend?

Answer

If it is before the RSVP date, please change your RSVP on Zola. If it is after the RSVP date of May 1st, please reach out to Lauren or Matt to let us know. We understand that important things come up, however, we would appreciate hearing from you asap if your plans change so we can make adjustments with our vendors as needed.
