One cold day in December at a crowded Dierburgs grocery store, two people happened to reach for the same apple. As their hands awkwardly touched- they looked into each others eyes and knew it was meant to be. Here we are a couple years later excited to celebrate the next chapter of our lives! Now the real story! Matt and Lauren met for drinks at Flaco's tacos in December of 2016 after both swiping right on Bumble. After what was supposed to be a quick drink at the bar, the two found themselves so engulfed in conversation that they finally said goodnight 4 hours later! Following that evening Matt and Lauren spent the next year and a half experiencing this thing we call life together!! They've been together when Matt bought his first home, been fortunate enough to go on some pretty epic vacations, supported each other through new jobs, and made a lot of new friends along the way! On September 16th, 2018 Matt proposed at the top of Pikes Peak in Colorado Springs, CO and Lauren said YES!! We could not be more excited for our new adventure!
