She bears the same one, a mark of a bond that has withstood the test of time and all the choices, good and bad, they have made along the way. Best friends since kindergarten, Sam has been Lauren’s other half through it all. Even when they are miles apart, they are always in sync, finishing each other’s sentences, laughing at jokes no one else understands, and proving that some friendships really are forever.

Brother to the groom (not by blood, but by Fraternity). Brian has at times played the role of life coach- helping Mason to stay on track and finish school. There is a saying in Phi Delta Theta to ‘Be your brother’s keeper’ and there is no one who exemplifies that more than Brian.

The bridal party could not be complete without Val as she is living proof there there is no better friend than a sister. She has been a constant in Lauren’s life. She is one of her greatest supporters and advocates, and her favorite Fortnite duo. She taught Lauren the meaning of unconditional love, and Val's presence on this day means everything to the bride.

Step-Father to the groom. It’s rare that you get to have the example father figure step in as a stepparent, but that’s what makes Rich special. His impact and guidance on Mason has been pivotal in becoming who he is. If you hear Mason go into detailed explanation of market projections or explain why a floor plan doesn’t make sense… you can thank Rich for that.

It is hard to sum up the powerhouse that is Beth. No words could encapsulate how wonderful and vibrant she is. She truly is one of a kind. Earnest, bold, courageous, and refreshingly blunt, she carries love and laughter wherever she goes. She has quickly become one of Lauren’s closest friends and a huge reason why Oregon now feels like home.
