FAQs

The Wedding Website of Lauren Taylor and Mason Cheek
Question

How do I RSVP? When should I RSVP by?

Answer

To RSVP, click the RSVP tab and type the name(s) listed on your envelope. If you are having trouble, feel free to contact the bride or groom for assistance. For us to properly prepare our wedding, we will need a count of attendees by February 1st, 2026. Please RSVP by that date!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We'd love to include everyone, but due to limited space, only the guests who received a plus one on their invitation can bring a guest. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

No dress code here—come as fancy or as comfy as you like! Whether you're rocking a tux, a sundress, or your most reliable party pants, the only thing that matters is that you’re ready to celebrate! The ceremony and reception will take place in a heated indoor pavilion. The venue also has spacious outdoor areas to explore, and umbrellas will be provided in case of rain.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We would suggest an arrival time of 4:00PM.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, the venue has a spacious parking lot. For more information on parking, please visit this website: https://thewateroasis.com/area-information/directions-and-parking/

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Gifts are by no means required. Your presence is the best gift we could ask for! But if you’re feeling extra generous (or just really love gift-giving), we do have a link to our Amazon registry and our honeymoon fund available on our Registry page. No pressure—just love!

Question

Is there anything to do in Newburg?

Answer

Our wedding venue compiled several recommendations for things to do in the area if you are interested in having an adventure while you are staying in the area for the wedding. Please visit: https://thewateroasis.com/adventure-awaits-where-to-eat-drink-and-play-in-the-newberg-area/

Question

Will the ceremony be unplugged?

Answer

Nope! We’d love for you to be fully present in the moment, but we also welcome you to capture the memories. Feel free to take photos and videos during both the ceremony and the reception! We just ask that you be mindful of our photographers and each other while doing so.
