Our wedding ceremony and reception will be held at The Providence Cotton Mill in Maiden, NC. The venue will be approx. 12 minutes to the north of the wedding hotel in Lincolnton, NC. The Venue does have limited Air Conditioning, however the inside of the mill is typically 10-15 degrees cooler than the outside temperature.

Question

What is the Dress Code?

Answer

Please join us in your best attire, either in suits or midi/long dresses.

Question

Can I Bring a Guest and Are Kids Allowed?

Answer

We kindly ask that only those formally named on the wedding invitation attend, as we are only able to accommodate invited guests. If you’ve been given a plus one, it will be listed on your official wedding invitation and reflected when you RSVP. We understand that childcare can be a challenge, so if you have any extenuating circumstances, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Question

There's a lake party on Sunday??

Answer

Yes! We’d love for all out-of-town friends and immediate family to join us for a Lake Day at Lauren’s parents’ lake house on Sunday of Labor Day weekend. Plan to bring your swimsuit, sunscreen, and a towel, but don’t worry if you forget something, we’ll have extras on hand! We’re planning to serve a catered meal, so come hungry, ready to float, and celebrate one more time with us by the water and enjoy the long Labor Day weekend at the lake! Kids are welcome!
