How/ When should I RSVP by?

Answer

You can RSVP directly on our website or by mailing back the card provided. We do ask that you please RSVP by August 27, 2021. Unfortunately, our venue does have strict deadlines that we have to abide by. We hope to see you there!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our venue will open their doors at 4pm and we ask that everyone please be seated by 4:20pm as we plan to start the ceremony at 4:30pm.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Thank you for asking! Yes, the dress code is Cocktail and/or Garden Attire. If you're curious as to what that would entail, think cocktail dresses, floral patterns, dressy jumpsuits, suits, jackets and slacks.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to venue capacity and keeping social distancing in mind, we ask that you only bring a date if your invitations indicates a guest. We appreciate your understanding.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

There will be kids at our wedding and some of them will even be in the wedding. With that in mind and due to venue capacity and social distancing, we still ask that you only RSVP for the people who were included in your invitation.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, please indicate any food allergies when you send in your RSVP. We will do our best to accommodate these requests with our caterer.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes, of course we do! We have a block of rooms reserved at the Embassy Suites and Hyatt Place hotels. You can go to the Accommodations page for additional information. When calling to make your reservations, mention the Van Hoose - Parzuchowski Wedding to get our discounted rate. If you're looking for other accommodations, there are several other hotels in the area and we always love a good Airbnb or VRBO!

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, even though we will be in Downtown Grand Rapids, our venue does have ample free parking available. If you are in need of handicap parking, please use the upper parking lot as there is a ramp at the rear entrance of the venue. If you do not need ramp accessibility, we ask that you fill the lower parking lot, located at the front entrance, before filling up the upper lot.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We're having a Brewery Crawl the day after the wedding. Please see the "Schedule" page on our website for all of our wedding weekend details! Additionally, we will provide a Wedding Weekend Itinerary in your hotel welcome bag if you book in our room block at the Embassy Suites or Hyatt Place hotels.

Can I get a welcome bag even if I do not book in one of the hotel room blocks?

Answer

Yes! If you are booking outside of one of the hotel room blocks, please send a text/ email to Lauren. She will make sure to include you in the welcome bag count. Please note that we only have visibility to bookings inside the room blocks so if you book outside and want a welcome bag, you will need to let us know.
