It all began in Kettering University's Thompson Hall Dorm during Freshman Move in Day. Lauren was attempting to figure out how to loft her dorm bed when Kevin's head popped in around the door frame. Kevin offered up his help as he had a tool box in his room down the hall. Later, Lauren and her roommate were in line for their ID pictures and found Kevin in front of them. They decided that they wanted to befriend this helpful new friend and teased him to "smile pretty" during his ID picture. As the freshman orientation weekend continued, Kevin and Lauren discovered that they were both Chemical Engineering majors, enjoyed watching pro and college football, and had an enthusiasm for cooking. It was clear from the beginning that there was something special between them. Now in just over 10 years to the day, they will be saying "I Do" to forever!
