Wedding Party

Amanda Clift

Matron of Honor

Amanda and I first met over a decade ago at a mutual friend’s bachelorette party, but it wasn’t until later—while we were both nursing broken from the dumb boys we’d been dating we really became friends. Since then, we’ve shared trips to Bend, many live shows, a journey abroad( featuring a surprise engagement), puppy cuddles, and multiple Hood to Coasts. I can’t imagine not having Amanda with on my wedding day!

Anna Galloway

Bridesmaid

Anna and I met through a mutual friend over a decade ago. If I’m honest, I was intimidated by Anna when I first met her. As a result, she coincidentally becoming one my closest friends. Over the years we have run four Hood to Coast relays and the Cascade Lakes relay. Our mutual love of coffee dates, cozy nights in with the dogs, running crazy long relays brings me so much joy. I’m so grateful to have her with me today!

Cameron Lund

Bridesmaid

Cameron and I met during the pandemic, not long after she moved to Portland. Amanda introduced us at an outing, and from that moment Cameron and I became fast friends. She’s one of those people who becomes a friend before you even realize it’s happening. We shared in our dating woes, finding our person, Hood to Coast relays, wine nights at home and fun nights out in Portland. I’m so grateful our paths crossed when they did, and I’m honored to have her by my side today.

Amy Driscoll

Bridesmaid

Amy and I go all the way back to seventh grade, where we bonded performing in the middle school musical. High school band only tightened the friendship, mostly thanks to long rehearsals and equally long conversations on the band room couch. We made some of our best memories on band trips, at family New Year’s Eve parties, and dancing at Ska shows. I’m endlessly grateful for all the years of laughter, support, and friendship—and I’m honored to have her by my side.

Michael Alden

Best Man

Seven years ago, I met Mike, who somehow went from “new friend” to “person who knows way too much about me” and is still here. Over the years, we’ve survived iffy decisions, great memories, and countless laughs, and through it all he’s been the most solid, loyal friend anyone could ask for. He’s the one who shows up when it matters and when it doesn’t, keeps me grounded, and never lets life get too serious. Having Mike be my best man is the most exciting thing. It makes sense after seven years of friendship, ups and downs, new experiences, and more. There was really no one else I’d trust more to stand by my side… or to hold the rings without losing them… hopefully.

Ethan Robins

Best Man

Growing up with my brother meant having a built-in best friend and sometimes my toughest critic—but always someone who had my back no matter what. He’s been by my side through every phase of life. He keeps me humble and remains a good reminder of someone everyone should strive to be… selfless. His support and love have shaped who I am more than he probably realizes, and having him standing with me on my wedding day means everything. I couldn’t ask for a better brother or a better man to have by my side as I start this next chapter, and I’m endlessly grateful to call him both my brother and my friend.

Kevin Rietveld

Groomsman

Kevin is my longest-standing friend, who, also, without question is the goofiest person I know—and I mean that in the best way possible. From day one, he’s been a constant source of laughter, ridiculous moments, and unwavering support. He single handedly got him, Mike, and myself through our monotonous CFI training with his goofiness. He’s the kind of friend who shows up loud, proud, and ready to hype you up no matter what’s going on (along with try to get you tipsy) and life is just a blast with him in it. Having him standing by my side on my wedding day reminds me how lucky I am to have a friend who’s always believed in me and supported me when I needed it most.

Sean Nelson

Groomsman

My first college roommate, Sean and I didn’t start out crammed into one room—we had a suite (bougie I know) which gave us just enough space to pretend we had our lives together. What started as a couple of guys sharing a common space that turned into a great friendship built on late nights, inside jokes, and mutual survival…. Eventually morphing our way to work buddies as CFIs, spending long days flying, stressing about students, and wondering how we ended up there in the first place. Somewhere along the way, we carried each other through the chaos with a lot of laughs and just enough professionalism to get the job done. Having him standing by my side on the walks to the airport and now today proves that even unassuming roommates can be best of friends. I’m super excited to have him by my side as I go into the next chapter of more fun adventures.
