What time should I arrive at the venue?

Answer

Please arrive to the Belle Mer no later than 4:30PM. The ceremony starts at 5:00PM sharp in which time the garden gates will close. Don't be late :)

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Dress to celebrate. The vibe is garden party meets summer soirée. No need for black-tie, but please skip the shorts, jeans, sneakers and hats. Men: Suits or jackets with ties. Women: Cocktail dresses, jumpsuits, or long gowns. A couple of notes: The ceremony will take place outdoors on a grassy lawn, so ladies, we recommend block heels, wedges, or flats over stilettos. We'll be on the harbor so please remember to bring a light layer just in case.

Are babies welcome?

We love your children, but we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event (excluding the few older children specifically listed on the invite). Thank you for your understanding!

Please navigate to the 'Travel & Accommodations' tab to learn more about the hotels we've secured room blocks with across the Newport and Middletown area. If you prefer to find accommodations on your own, Newport offers a wide range of large and boutique-sized hotels, Bed & Breakfasts, as well as rentals via Airbnb or VRBO.

Yes. On-site complimentary parking is available at the venue for anyone who prefers to drive.
