Dinner will be a Hawaiian BBQ feast with something for everyone! We have three entree options to choose from as well as side dishes. All food is gluten free. Huli Huli Chicken: Grilled chicken with homemade pineapple sweet chili sauce, cilantro, and sesame. Kahlua Pork: Braised pork shoulder with pineapple, citrus, and warm spices. Veggie Dirty Fried Rice: Wok-fried rice with tamari, ginger, Thai chile, and seasonal veggies.
Dress code is semi-formal, but wear something you're comfortable in! Please no jeans or casual footwear. Bridgeport is at 6.5k elevation, so the temperature can change drastically when the sun goes down. We expect daytime temperatures in the mid-70s, and nighttime temperatures could drop into the 50's. It's a good idea to bring a jacket!
Our venue sits at 6,463 feet in the Eastern Sierra, so a heads up for guests traveling from lower elevations that the altitude may affect you. You may feel more winded than usual, especially if you're active during your visit. We recommend drinking plenty of water, taking it easy on your first day, and going easy on the alcohol (it hits harder up here!). Evenings can also get surprisingly cool even in summer, so bring a layer. We promise the mountain air and views are worth it!
Yes, we encourage local guests to camp at the venue! There's plenty of parking and restrooms, and then you don't have to drive after the event. You can camp in your van or truck, or pitch a tent. The venue charges $20 per vehicle, free for tents. Camping is dry camping only (no hookups). If you plan to camp, please do the following: 1. Let us know in your RSVP 2. Venmo $20 to Lauren (@Lauren-Ford) 3. Email a signed camping waiver to Lauren (lauren.ford2@gmail.com) Camping waiver link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Zjb-phAyxx9CoDOXjk64_0gob9lHgqCj/view?usp=sharing
