We met doing what we love. John had been a member of Crossfit Defined for 6 years before Lauren joined in 2017. Daily glances during workouts led to an amazing cup of coffee that was the last first date for both. Who would have guessed that a cold, rainy Sunday in October would only be the beginning of so many adventures to follow.

John and Lauren had always planned to hike Starved Rock with their dog Luna. John was able to turn an unexpected weekend hike into an epic surprise with siblings hiding in the bushes to capture lasting memories.
