Maid of Honor
We met on our first day of Hospitality 101 - yes that's a real class! We spent 4 years together in and out of class, a semester abroad in Italy, and a week class trip to wineries in Napa. We've been together for 11 years and no matter the distance, whether on the East or West Coast, or Australia, we've always been able to pick up where we left off.
Best Man
Thomas is my brother. We met at when Thomas was born at Newton-Wellesley Hospital outside Boston on January 5th, 1993. Over the last few years, I've bonded even closer to Thomas and his wife, Hannah, at their house in Madison and back in Savannah.
Bridesmaid
We started out as co-workers at the Museum, and at some point along the way, started hosting wine and cheese nights, meeting friends (and future fiancé), and dealing with COVID events. We both now even have rescue dogs! She may be in another state now, but the bond will always be there.
Groomsman
I first met Niki in Madison as a coworker but we bonded during our nearly three years together in Dubai. From late nights at Chasers Madison to exploring new countries together, Niki and I made a lot of memories I will never forget.
Bridesmaid
My almost sister-in-law! I have known Hannah *almost* as long as I've known Joey--we met during a short weekend away at Tybee, and again the day she and Thomas got engaged. It's been so wonderful having someone to reach out to for advice or palette suggestions, and I can't wait to have her be my sister for the rest of my life.
Groomsman
Ryan was one of the first brothers I met at our fraternity in college and definitely one of the only people that didn't strongly dislike me when I first joined. We shared an apartment together in our second year as well as an especially memorable trip to New Orleans. Since then, we've stayed in touch even as our careers took us to different places.
Bridesmaid
We met at work while I was a banquet manager and she was in the restaurant, and we would go out after our shift. We both left the club business behind for something more, but we've always kept in touch and involved in each other's lives.
Groomsman
I met Cary in college and through our fraternity but we became better friends after college, through trips to Las Vegas and mutual Midwestern connections. Cary is one of the most likeable people I know, and also one of the tallest.
Bridesmaid
After Melissa left the Museum, Hallie became the new Special Events manager with me, and we worked together a ton on events with some crazy clients. We bonded over the craziness and spent countless hours around each other.
Groomsman
I occupied a room next to Ben for a couple years in college, as well as memorable late-night trips to Burger King. We've connected more recently through shared passions for cardio, cooking, and cocktails. Ben has always been a reliable and generous friend.
Bridesmaid
A relatively new addition to the SE team at the Museum, Kasha became our bar manager in the spring and the 3 of us spent 40+ hours a week sitting in the office talking about the most random things, craziest of clients, and everything in between.
Groomsman
When CJ was new to our fraternity, I took him to a Ludacris concert while the rest of the pledges did manual labor. While we weren't best friends in college, through a later trip to Nicaragua as well as reconnecting in Atlanta we shared many good times.
