We're Getting Married!

We are a bumble success story! We met on a dating app, and after talking for a couple days, Joey asked Lauren out for drinks (it was National Margarita Day after all!) and we immediately connected. We knew it was something special when we spent the whole evening talking and laughing and never wanting it to end. The more we connected, the more we knew we wanted to spend our lives together.

New Years Eve! We were in Savannah with Joey's family for Christmas, and decided to celebrate the new year downtown on River Street. We got a beautiful hotel room and went upstairs on their rooftop lounge for cocktails. Joey started talking about our life together and how wonderful the past 4 years have been, and when the manager brought over champagne flutes, he got down on one knee and asked Lauren to marry him! After some ugly crying and orienting herself with what was going on, of course she said yes! After a standing ovation from the rest of the bar and a photo shoot, we spent the rest of the day/evening celebrating. So here we are, 2 years of regular life and 2+ years of covid life, ready to make sure we are each other's best friend for life.
