When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Wednesday, March 25, 2026 The room block needs to be secured and the $200 1st payment per room is due Wednesday, March 25, 2026. The 2nd payment for $400 per person is due April 8, 2026. The final balance of your room payment is due June 10, 2026.

How far is the resort from the airport?

Answer

28 minutes! Shuttle arrangements are possible through the resort.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes, please stay with us at Dreams Vista Cancun so we can get tons of time together! It's an all-inclusive resort and every single room has an ocean view.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! For the ceremony and cocktail hour, please wear black‑tie optional attire in our Elegant Tropical Golden Hour palette. Ladies: Pinks -watermelon, coral, blush-, soft peach, soft‑to‑sunflower yellow, and metallic gold. Asymmetrical necklines, draping, and elegant slits are encouraged to keep the look glamours and editorial. Gentlemen: Tailored solid matching tuxedos or suits in navy, black, tan, or similar. Ties and bow ties are a must. A quick heads‑up: The reception is indoors, so you might already feel great in your ceremony look, but before the dance floor opens, we’ll announce an optional costume change into something cocktail‑festive. Totally up to you, but think breezy, fun, and ready‑to‑move!

What dates are everyone staying?

Answer

You have to book a minimum of 3 nights. Joe and Lauren will be staying a week, checking in Wednesday, September 2 and checking out Wednesday, September 9. The welcome party is Friday and the wedding is Sunday, September 6. You should all have Labor Day off work, too, so a free day off built in!

Can I bring a date?

If we didn't extend a plus one and you have a significant other, we apologize! Please let us know by Wednesday, March 25 so we can add your loved one.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Our wedding is +21, but the resort isn't! Child care services are available separate from the Explorer’s Club or Core Zone. Additional costs apply and are subject to change. Contact the concierge for details. Email info.drevc@dreamsresorts.com for more information

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Truly we don't expect anything since it's a huge gift to have you come! But if you'd like to gift us something check out our registry page! Since we have a home and pup already, you'll see it's mostly funds for experiences. If you know a specific thing we may want to do or attend, feel free to put funds towards that.
