When should I RSVP by?

Preferably by July 1, 2020... But RSVPs will not close, if you need more time, just communicate with us.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We are excited to have all of our guests let loose for the weekend. That being said, take this opportunity to live it up kid free!! To be clear, please leave the youngins at home :) ** Of course, discuss with us if you have an issue with this.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Timeline TBD (Ceremony starts at 330pm, please arrive early) **That being said, Everyone is welcome to start showing up on site anytime after 9am on Friday, August 13th. This venue is ours for the weekend, so we should enjoy it to the fullest! There will be drinks, yard games, and so much more!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! Fun and comfy, it is August in Michigan remember. More colorful the better. Men - no need for jackets! Women - remember it's outdoors, flat shoes suggested, flip flops are ideal :)

Is there a cost to stay for the weekend?

Answer

Good question! Lodging on site is included on Friday... if you choose to also stay on Saturday (which we hope you do!), a link will be sent to you separately based on your RSVP, to pay for a campsite ($30 per tent/trailer not per person).

Do I bring a tent? Rent a site? Stay at a hotel?

Answer

You can bring a tent, bring a trailer, or stay in a hotel. We rented the whole facility for the weekend... so you just need to decide if you want to be a bit rustic for a couple days. Onsite is FREE for Friday night, but you must bring your own tent or trailer. Saturday onsite is just $30 per tent/trailer (not per person). ** Not to discourage, but there are not showers onsite. If you really want to stay onsite, but NEED to shower, my aunt and mom live close by and have offered up their showers. Any more questions about this, don't hesitate to ask!

I'm coming in from out of town, but still want to camp... can you make suggestions?

Woah, camping is not quite my style... can you give me more information on another option?

Answer

We completely understand that this is a very unique wedding setup... but the thought of having all of our family and friends together excites us so much. If you are not the camping type, but are still excited about staying nearby, there are many hotels in the vicinity (Refer to the TRAVEL tab).

Can I only use the hotel block rate for Friday and Saturday?

Please reach out to Lauren (248-830-1896) if you plan to come in early or stay later. I will reach out to your individual hotel and ask about extending your hotel rate.

Are their bathrooms?

Answer

Short answer: YES! - There are 4 single indoor bathrooms (no showers) located in the main building.

Question

Can we keep drinks, alcohol, food in tents or in the main building?

Answer

Of course! In the main building, there is a full kitchen upstairs and another full fridge downstairs. Recommend bringing a cooler, which can be stored near your tent or inside. Side note: the kitchen has a fridge and storage area available to anyone who wants to use it. (If you want it kept just yours, revert to college and put your name on it). Also, there will be plenty of snacks and drinks in the main building at all times; including coolers just for ice, in case you need it!
