There will be some free time during the day on Friday and Saturday (unless you are getting ready with the wedding party, of course). We think you’ll have plenty of fun relaxing with friends and exploring the grounds (check the schedule), but if you’re looking to get out and explore, there is plenty to check out within an hour’s drive of Hawkesdene, including:

Horseback riding
Local breweries like Hoppy Trout Brewing
Golf
Ziplining
Too many hiking trails and scenic drives to list!

If you are able, we recommend turning your trip into a longer vacation and staying for a few days in Asheville, the Smokey Mountains, or traveling the Blue Ridge Parkway.
