Question
When should I RSVP by?
Answer
Please RSVP by Friday, April 18th by clicking the RSVP tab in the menu above. If you are unable to attend, we would appreciate you letting us know at the soonest opportunity. Any RSVPs received after this date will be marked as a 'no' as we will be sending final headcounts to vendors shortly after this deadline.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
We'd love to see our friends and family get dressed up for our big day! Dress to impress in summer formal attire (midi or floor length dresses are appropriate.) Please no jeans or denim and avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride - whites, ivories, and creams. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside, while dinner and dancing will take place inside.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony will begin promptly at 5pm. We will have shuttles bringing guests from the West Drive building at The Broadmoor up to Cheyenne Lodge beginning at 4:15pm, which will allow time for you to find your seat and enjoy a refreshment. If you happen to be late, someone will be there to let you know if they are still allowing guests in or if you will need to wait until the ceremony is over. If that happens, just hang tight and we will see you at the reception!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
While there is parking available at our venue, we encourage you to utilize our wedding shuttle service. The shuttles will provide both pick up and drop off from the West Drive at The Broadmoor resort and bring you directly to Cheyenne Lodge. Garage parking is available on-site for guests who will be driving to Colorado Springs.

Can I bring a guest/date?

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally addressed on your save the date. Thank you for your understanding and please feel free to reach out with any questions.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
While we adore your children, our wedding will be an adults only affair. We encourage you to use this evening as a "night out" for yourself, we can’t wait to celebrate with you! For guests staying at The Broadmoor, there are nanny services available upon request: https://broadmoornannies.com/

Do you have any hotel recommendations?
Answer
We have room blocks available at The Broadmoor and The Courtyard Marriott. If an Airbnb/VRBO is more your speed, there are plenty to choose from in Colorado Springs.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors, weather permitting. The reception will take place indoors, but we will have an outdoor bar available as well so that you can enjoy the beautiful summer weather!

Will there be an open bar?
Answer
Yes! The drinks are on us and the hangover is on you - we can't wait to party with you! For this reason, we encourage you to Uber/Lyft to and from The Broadmoor and take advantage of our shuttle service from The Broadmoor to our venue. Please make sure you have a way to get home safely.

How does seating work?
Answer
The ceremony will be open seating, so sit wherever you please - there will not be designated "bride" or "groom" sides. However, please allow our family to have the first few rows. For the reception, we will be carefully arranging tables so our guests are sat with those they know (or their plus one or partner).

Can we take our own pictures + videos during the ceremony?
Answer
We kindly ask that phones and cameras be put away during our ceremony - we have the most amazing photography team documenting our entire day, and would really love for you to take it all in, celebrate, and be in the moment with us!

Are there additional details to know for the welcome party on Friday?
Answer
We'll be providing light bites and drinks and the event will be cocktail attire. The wedding weekend is an adults-only affair, which includes the welcome event, so please make other arrangements for your kiddos!
