Is there a dress code?

Answer

We kindly request a formal dress code for our celebration. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear suits, and ladies a floor-length gown or formal cocktail dress.

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

There is a hotel block at the Courtyard by Marriott Charleston Historic District, as well as the Francis Marion hotel.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to include the children of our immediate family. We truly appreciate your understanding.

Is parking allowed? Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Parking is available on-site for both the welcome party and wedding venue for those who wish to drive. For the wedding on Saturday, however, due to limited space, we encourage carpooling, using Uber or Lyft services, or taking advantage of our provided transportation. Trolleys will be running from The Courtyard Marriott and the Francis Marion Hotel directly to the venue, as well as back to the hotels after the wedding!

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We will have an outdoor ceremony, with plans to move under a tent should the weather require it. Following the ceremony, guests will enjoy a cocktail hour by the water, or in the main house, depending on the day's conditions. An evening of dinner and dancing will follow in an enclosed, climate-controlled tent.
