Our story began long before we ever started dating. Our grandparents were next door neighbors, and our moms were childhood friends. Jackson and I always knew of each other over the years, and even briefly met once in high school, but never truly got to know each other until college when my best friend’s boyfriend (now husband!) became Jackson’s roommate. It really felt like such a small world. In the summer of 2024, Jackson reached out and asked to fish in my neighborhood, and a few weeks later, he asked me on our first date. We’ve been inseparable ever since. Around a year and a half later, he proposed at the neighborhood pond where our moms used to go as kids, and later brought us as kids. The pond sits exactly one mile from both of our current homes, right in the middle, which made the moment even more special (and full circle). The Lord has played the biggest role in our story, and we cannot wait to continue to grow in our relationship with each other, as well as our relationship with Christ. We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter together with all of our favorite people!
