Things To Do

Élephante

1332 2nd Street, Santa Monica, CA 90401

A. Vibe. Some exceptional Italian with rooftop views of the Ocean. (would not recommend if you are looking for something intimate/quiet)

Mao's Kitchen

1512 Pacific Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90291

Want something easy? Craving some good ole' Chinese takeout? Mao's is a nice walk into Venice and right off of the Venice boardwalk

Water Grill

1401 Ocean Avenue, Santa Monica, CA 90401

An excellent spot for some exceptional seafood or burger right on Ocean Avenue.

Perry's Café & Beach Rentals - 2400

2400 Ocean Front Walk, Santa Monica, CA 90405

If you are looking for a casual but yummy "toes in the sand" bite by the water, this is your spot. There are multiple Perry's along the boardwalk. This one is positioned right before Santa Monica turns into Venice

Art District

Los Angeles, CA

a gem right off of little Tokyo in LA. Great coffee, food, walking, art, etc. Also stumble on the outside of the "New Girl" apartment for any fans:)

The Last Bookstore

453 South Spring Street, Los Angeles, CA 90013

If you like books, bookstores, fun nick nacky things. Here you go. Don't forget to go upstairs - this place is bigger than you think.

Bavel

500 Mateo Street, Los Angeles, CA 90013

For the foodies - one of the bride's favorite restaurants in LA. If interested get a reservation ahead of time as they book up fast.

Cafe Mimosa

395 South Topanga Canyon Boulevard, Topanga, CA 90290

Cafe buried in Topanga Canyon - a great stop and worth the scenic drive through Malibu and the canyon.

Stairs

Stairs, Los Angeles, CA 90068

literally a very very steep set up stairs in Culver City. Insane workout. Even better views.

Venice Boardwalk

Los Angeles, CA 90291

The obligatory walk, from Santa Monica to Venice. Also a solid bike ride (most hotels in the area will rent or offer free bikes).

Le Petit Paris

418 South Spring Street, Los Angeles, CA 90013

Rarely do you find a GOOD restaurant in LA without influencers or lines out the door - but this French place seems to be untouched by the Los Angeles craziness. Highly recommend and highly recommend valeting when you do (not the best part of downtown).
