FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Hit that RSVP button by Wednesday, October 7th, 2026. After that, we may have to track you down 😊

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is formal. We suggest a floor-length gown or formal cocktail dress for women, and a suit and tie for men.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

You can find the registry on the registry tab listed on this website. We’ve chosen to keep our registry simple and focused on growing our future in this next chapter together. In lieu of traditional gifts, we kindly ask for contributions to the created fund options made through the Zola site.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The Church ceremony will begin promptly at 2:00pm. Guests please arrive by 1:30pm as late arrivals may not be seated until an appropriate pause in the ceremony.

Question

Is there time between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes! The ceremony will end around 3:00pm, and the reception begins at 4:30pm. This allows time to travel (about 30 minutes), freshen up, or stop by the hotel before heading to the venue. Upon arrival, you may valet at the venue or park at the hotel and walk over (all hotels are within 8-15 minute walks along the Las Colinas Riviera to the Reception). Valet costs are graciously being covered by the Grandy family.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We aren't allowing plus-ones at our wedding, as we'd like to keep the guests list just to those who know us well. The name of every guest invited to attend is clearly listed on your invitation and no additional guests can be accommodated.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We will have a few little ones there as a part of the bridal party, otherwise the wedding will be adults-only. We appreciate your understanding.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

No, guests are encouraged to to utilize the discount codes created especially for them to wither reserve a rental car or hire an Uber/Lyft. See the Travel section of this website for further information

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the reception?

Answer

Guests staying at the Holiday Inn will have access to complimentary transportation to and from the reception venue. Please note that the final shuttle from the venue back to the hotel departs at 9:30 PM. For guests staying at the other nearby hotels, the reception venue is conveniently located within about an 8–10 minute walk. We have also arranged a special Uber/Lyft discount code exclusively for our wedding guests to make transportation as easy and convenient as possible. We encourage everyone to use whichever option feels most comfortable and enjoyable for the evening!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

For the ceremony: Yes! St. Catherine of Siena has plenty of parking in the front of the church. For the Reception: Complimentary valet parking will be provided to anyone arriving by car for the reception. Please follow the signs upon arrival to the appropriate valet area Also, due to how close the hotels are available to the reception, guests are also welcome to park their car at their hotel and take the short walk over to the reception following the ceremony.
