Staying in Santa Monica
Bel-Air Bay Club is located in Pacific Palisades, on the Pacific Coast Highway between Santa Monica and Malibu. We recommend that guests stay in downtown Santa Monica, as there is beach access, a vibrant restaurant scene, and plenty of hotels. Both of our hotel recommendations are downtown, and a 10-15 minute drive from our venue. It's possible to save money staying further out, but be conscious of travel time / transport costs (LA traffic is as bad as they say!). If you'd prefer to go the AirBnB/VRBO route, we strongly recommend booking early - there are unfortunately not many AirBnBs close to our venue.

Our original blocks were at the Shore (cheaper rate) and Fairmont (more lux rate) - see below. Since the Shore block is booked up, here are some hotels with comparable rates! Prices have been decreasing so we'd recommend a quick Google to ensure these are the best deal. In Downtown Santa Monica / close to beach: - Le Meridien Santa Monica: ~250/night (~10 min from venue) - Courtyard Santa Monica: ~300/night (~10 min from venue) Slightly further out: - FOUND Hotel Santa Monica: ~200/night (~20 min from venue) - Holiday Inn Express West LA: ~200/night (~15 min from venue) - Jamaica Bay Inn Marina Del Rey: ~250/night (~20 min from venue)

Transportation
Los Angeles is a car-centric city. We recommend using rideshare or a rental car to get around. GETTING TO VENUE: Parking at Bel-Air Bay Club is very limited. We ask that you to ride-share if possible. If you are driving, please CARPOOL and arrive 20-30 minutes early in case you need to park outside of the venue lot. There is a small parking lot on-site. If that lot fills up, please park on Arno Way on the side with no houses (drive through the parking lot and then take a left). We have a couple of options for getting to and from Bel-Air Bay Club: - Lyft/Uber/Alto: Recommended. Venue is a quick 10 minute drive from Santa Monica - Driving: There is limited parking at the venue - if you drive, please try to carpool! Please also plan to arrive 20-30 minutes early if you're driving. If parking at the venue fills up, guests will need to park in nearby neighborhoods or the beach.

Traffic in LA
*If you are from a state that ends in “as” (such as Texas, Kansas, or Arkansas) please budget extra time when driving to the venue. We assure you, LA traffic is worse than your local Chic-Fil-A drive-thru. This is also why we HIGHLY recommend staying in Santa Monica! **If you are from a state that has at least one Republican senator, please refrain from leaving your valuables in the rental car.
Flight
Airports (LAX, LGB, BUR)
LAX (Los Angeles): RECOMMENDED - The closest airport to the Bel-Air Bay Club and hotels in Santa Monica/West LA. LGB (Long Beach): The second-closest airport and a focus-city for Southwest Airlines. BUR (Hollywood Burbank): The third-closest airport with flights to all major domestic hubs. LOCAL TRAVEL TIPS: - If it works with your schedule, arriving outside of rush hour will save you time in traffic! - If you are arriving at LAX, we recommend walking 5-10 minutes to the Hyatt Regency, and calling an Uber from there (just turn left and start walking when you exit the terminal by baggage claim and you will see it). This will avoid LAX uber surcharges! - Give yourself plenty of time before your flight if leaving out of LAX. There can be a lot of traffic getting into the airport.
