The most reliable form of transportation is to rent a car in Bozeman. The linked website outlines both public and private transportation options between Bozeman and Big Sky. A-to-Z Chauffeur offers rides to and from the airport. They also provide transportation around the Big Sky area. Please note that rideshare apps like Uber and Lyft are not available in the Big Sky area.
Hotel
We have partnered with The Wilson Hotel (a Marriott property) in the heart of Big Sky's Meadow Village for our hotel block. This property is only a few years old and within walking distance to restaurants, bars, shops and trails. You will find the information for our online reservation link below. The destination fee includes a daily $20 food and beverage credit, complimentary breakfast, fitness center, internet and property owned bikes to use. Last Day to Book to secure rate : Tuesday, July 29, 2025 Please note: The Wilson is extending the block rate from Wednesday August 27th- Monday September 1st if you opt to come in early or stay later in Big Sky. However, there is not a minimum number of nights required to access the rate. There a many rental options in the area. AirBnb, VRBO, and Vacasa all offer rentals near Moonlight and throughout the Big Sky area. Transportation between The Wilson Hotel (located in Town Center) and Moonlight Basin will be provided on the wedding day. You do not have to be staying at The Wilson to use the shuttle. House Or Rental
Lodging within the Moonlight Basin property can be booked directly through Moonlight Basin. To book lodging, please contact the Moonlight Basin Residential Services team at (406) 924-1402 or via email at lodging@moonlightbasin.com. They are available daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM MST. As a wedding guest, you will receive a 15% discount on your lodging stay. To take advantage of this offer, please book directly by calling the number above—do not book through the website. However, you can view the available rentals on their website. Moonlight offers two types of property rentals: Lake Lodge Condo: There is a Club Guest Access fee associated with staying at this lodge. This fee is $125 per person per night for anyone over the age of 12, payable upon arrival. This fee grants access to both the Lake Lodge and Moonlight Basin Lodge, including amenities such as The Tavern Restaurant, 3 Forks Restaurant, pools, jacuzzis, gyms, Members Lounge, Ulery’s Lake, The Reserve Golf Course, and potential activities/events. Home Rental: These properties do not include Club access but are beautiful homes with scenic views, and most feature private hot tubs. On-site staff are available daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. With this personalized service, you will receive one complimentary grocery pickup and pantry/fridge stocking. If you are interested, please ask for more details. The Moonlight Basin area consists of small neighborhoods, and it’s approximately a 5-minute drive between properties.
Shuttle

A shuttle service operated by Karst Stage Transportation will run between The Wilson Hotel (Town Center) and Moonlight Basin on the day of the wedding. -The first shuttle will depart from the Wilson at 3:30 PM. -Guests do not need to be staying at the Wilson to use the shuttle. -Return shuttles will run multiple times during the reception and at the end of the evening.
