Located in the Fells Point neighborhood, Max's Taphouse is where Austin and Lauren went on their first date! As one of the best beer bars in the country, you can enjoy one (or two...or three!) of their 100 beers on tap-- there is something for everyone here!
Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine
Most known for inspiring Francis Scott Key to write the Star Spangled Banner and stunning views of Baltimore's waterfront, the Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine is just a short walk from Austin and Lauren's home and wedding venue! They enjoy walks here with Luffy in the warmer months and know you will, too!
SOBO Brewery District
After visiting over 100 breweries together, Lauren and Austin know that some of the best breweries are where they call home! With four great breweries in South Baltimore, we recommend a visit to one, or all, of them! - Pickett Brewing Company (our favorite!) - Checkerspot Brewing Company - Wico Street Beer Co - M8 Beer
Historic Ships in Baltimore
Located in Baltimore's Inner Harbor, you will find a number of historic ships! You can take a step back into maritime history as you climb aboard, with one even dating back to 1854, or visit the Seven Foot Knoll Lighthouse (iykyk)!
L.P. Steamers
It's not a trip to Baltimore without picking crabs! While there are many spots to enjoy Maryland's favorite food, Lauren and Austin recommend a trip to LP Steamers-- a local neighborhood spot with great crabs and good vibes!
National Aquarium
One of the most iconic spots in Baltimore is the National Aquarium! With views of Baltimore's Inner Harbor and over 20,000 animals, the National Aquarium is a must-see spot while exploring the city! Lauren's favorite exhibit is the jellyfish, and Austin enjoys the puffins!
Thames Street Oyster House
Serving up some of the best seafood and views in Baltimore is Thames Street Oyster House! Lauren and Austin enjoyed a delicious lunch here after their engagement, and would highly recommend visiting during your time here! Reservations are recommended, especially during dinner time!
