How do I get to the venue and where can I park?

Answer

After turning off of Highway 20 onto Hawks Beard, you will see signs directing you around Black Butte Ranch. Continue to the right to remain on Hawks Beard. The lodge will be on your left in about 1 mile. You will see a large parking lot where guests are welcome to park. The lodge will be the building to the left of the parking lot, behind the drop-off area.

Is there a dress code for the wedding?

Answer

We ask that our guests dress in cocktail (semi-formal) attire.

Will the ceremony and reception be held indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the wedding ceremony and reception will take place at the Black Butte Ranch Lodge. The venue is primarily outdoors on the lawn and lodge deck. Please keep this in mind when selecting shoes/heels! The lodge has indoor restrooms and a small lounge area.

What will the weather be like at this time of year?

Answer

Typically, Oregon weather in July is pleasant and sunny - yay! The temperature will likely be in the low 80s during the day. Keep in mind that it will cool off by night time.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

A cocktail hour will be held on the lodge deck following the ceremony. The bridal party will take photos nearby during this period. Refreshments, lawn games, and a fire pit will be available for all guests to enjoy! Dinner will follow.

Will there be food options for dietary restrictions?

Answer

Yes! There will be vegetarian appetizers and dinner entree options. Vegan, gluten-free, and other food allergies can be accommodated upon request. Please note this in your RSVP.
